The theme for this year in the Science Month celebration "Adapting to Diverse Science Culture for Development". The Science Club Organization of the locos Sur National High School is conducting various contest in connection to the Science Month. These are Quiz Bee, Essay Writing, Poster making, Slogan Making and Investigatory Project and display Congress. There is also a pageant 'Ginoo at Mutya ng Kalikasan' as well as Noise Barrage in connection to the preservation of nature . A Regional Science Congress to, which will be held on September 23-25, 2009 at Rosales Pangsinan.
The theme for this year means , adapting ideas, concepts as well as culture is important for development . Merging these adapted culture to other culture and applying it is essential in development.
Adapting foriegn culture in science is important in order for us to develope.
